The Traffic Police Department requests people to provide information about vehicles damaged by metal spills on the Da Nang - Quy Nhon expressway.

The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of the Ministry of Public Security has just issued a notice requesting people and transport businesses to provide information about vehicles damaged by metal materials scattered on the expressways in the direction of Da Nang - Quy Nhon.

According to the Traffic Police Department, in the period from 0:30 to 12:00 on August 6, 2026, on the expressway routes in the direction of Da Nang - Quy Nhon, traffic police forces discovered many metal materials scattered on the road surface, causing damage to some vehicles.

Through initial verification, functional forces identified the related vehicle as a tractor-trailer with license plate 36H-188. xx, pulling semi-trailer 36RM-037. xx. The vehicle driver was identified as V.D. T (born in 1990, residing in Thanh Hoa).

Currently, the case is being further verified by functional agencies, collecting documents to clarify the matter and handle it according to legal regulations.

To fully determine the number of vehicles affected and damaged, the Traffic Police Department requests people, transport businesses and organizations and individuals with vehicles damaged by metal materials scattered on the Da Nang - Quy Nhon expressways during the above period to urgently provide information.

The information requested to be provided includes full name, phone number, contact address; license plate, vehicle type, vehicle owner and driver information; time, location of damage or detection of spilled materials.

The Traffic Police Department also requested to provide information on the extent of damage, rescue costs, repair, tire replacement, spare parts, along with images, videos, dashcam data, positioning data, invoices, repair documents and witness information if any.

Expressway management units, transport enterprises, rescue units, and vehicle repair facilities, if they have received or supported damaged vehicles during and on the above-mentioned route, are also requested to coordinate in providing information to functional agencies.
