People agree to hand over land, accelerate construction

Kim Thai Industrial Cluster (CCN) has an area of about 69.04ha in Vu Ban commune, Ninh Binh province; total investment of nearly 900 billion VND.

Mr. Tran Minh Hoan - Secretary of the Party Committee of Vu Ban commune - said that the commune has more than 340 households in the area of agricultural land recovery to serve the project. Up to now, households have agreed to hand over the site, creating favorable conditions for the investor to deploy construction.

As one of the first households to agree to hand over land, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chung (Moi hamlet, Vu Ban commune) said that his family has nearly 3 sao of rice fields subject to recovery. In addition to compensation according to regulations, the family also received an additional support of 30 million VND to stabilize their lives.

My family has received compensation money and handed over land for the unit to implement the project. Building the IC helps develop the locality and create jobs for people in the area, we fully support it," Mr. Chung shared.

According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, these days at the Kim Thai IC construction site, the construction atmosphere is urgent, many infrastructure items are deployed simultaneously, and machinery is operating continuously to accelerate the project progress.

Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong - Deputy General Director of Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company - said: "Thanks to the high consensus from the people, site clearance (GPMB) is going smoothly. Up to this point, the construction of the Kim Thai CCN project has completed about 40% of the volume, expected to be completed by the end of 2026. In addition, we plan to allocate about 12% of the area to create green space in the CCN".

Expecting to create jobs for 8,000 workers

It is known that the main operating lines of Kim Thai IC include: mechanics, mechanical casting, metal processing; food processing; production of building materials, wood processing; production of plastics, production of packaging; production of handicrafts, forestry product processing; production of food processing, pharmaceutical production; production of rubber products; textiles (excluding dyeing and dyeing processing stages); production of automobile components and spare parts; production and assembly of electronics, electrical equipment; supporting industries of mechanical engineering, automobile, electronics and informatics...

Deputy General Director of Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company added that when completed and put into operation, Kim Thai IC is expected to attract many secondary businesses, expected to create stable jobs for about 8,000 local workers.

In addition, the project is also expected to promote industrial development, increase budget revenue, and create motivation for infrastructure and service development in the region. Kim Thai IC is also located near Bao Minh Industrial Park and expanded Bao Minh, gradually forming a modern and sustainable production linkage cluster.
