On November 20, Phu My Town Police in coordination with My Xuan Ward People's Committee and Vung Tau Low Pressure Gas Distribution Enterprise organized the enforcement of the decision to enforce and force the implementation of remedial measures against Formosa International Development Company Limited (FIDC - Investor of My Xuan A2 Industrial Park) due to administrative violations in the field of oil and gas, gasoline and gas trading.
Previously, FIDC had dug foundations and constructed fences on the gas pipeline corridor managed by Vung Tau Low Pressure Gas Distribution Enterprise.
Therefore, Phu My Town Police issued a decision to administratively fine FIDC 40 million VND; confiscate the exhibits; force restoration of the original state by dismantling the constructed works and filling in the deep trench that had been dug.
However, although the penalty decision took effect from March 26, 2024, up to now, this enterprise has not voluntarily complied. Therefore, in November 2024, Phu My Town Police continued to issue a decision to enforce, deciding to establish a team to enforce and force FIDC to take remedial measures.
