Kieu Phu Commune People's Committee has just organized a dialogue conference with 15 households in Ngoc Than village, whose land has been recovered to serve the Vietnam Natural History Museum Project.
At the conference, the Kieu Phu Commune Enforcement Board fully informed about the investment policy, objectives, and significance of the project to build the Vietnam National Museum of Nature, and at the same time clarified the legal bases and regulations in land acquisition, mandatory inventory, and compensation and support plans in accordance with current legal regulations.
The enforcement committee has also approved a plan to implement land recovery enforcement for households that do not receive compensation for site clearance as prescribed.
The project to prepare ground and build infrastructure for the Vietnam National Museum of Nature has a total area of 382,851m2, and the total number of households whose land is recovered is 386 households.
In which, the land acquisition area belonging to the old Liep Tuyet commune is over 123,548m2, the old Ngoc Liep commune is 8,217m2 and 251,085m2 belongs to the land of Ngoc Than village, the old Ngoc My commune.
To date, there are still 37 households, with 44 land plots, with a total area of 76,764m2, who have not received compensation for site clearance support to serve the project.
The petitions of households related to rights, compensation and support policies and concerns in the project implementation process have been directly answered by specialized agencies. However, many households have not yet approved the State's support policies.

At the conference, many petitions and proposals from households were received and explained by leaders of departments, professional departments, leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee (MTTQ) and socio-political organizations. Officials mobilized households to agree with the general policy of the State, as well as share difficulties and obstacles so that the locality can carry out site clearance work and soon hand over to the investment unit to implement the project.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Phan Trung Cuong - Standing Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee - emphasized that the Vietnam National Museum of Nature built in Kieu Phu commune will open up room for socio-economic development for the locality. Therefore, the work of land acquisition, compensation, support, and site clearance to serve the project is particularly focused on by the commune, ensuring compliance with regulations and the legitimate and lawful rights of the people.
The Commune People's Committee always publicly and transparently discloses information, coordinates with functional agencies to ensure compliance with regulations, harmonizing interests between the State, community and people.
Organizing dialogues with households is to directly listen to and absorb the legitimate opinions of the people, thereby creating consensus in the project implementation process.
The Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee received all opinions and recommendations of the households, and at the same time requested the households to continue to coordinate and comply with the State's land recovery policy to serve the project. Mr. Cuong assigned specialized departments to continue to review, guide, and promptly resolve the contents under their authority, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the households according to regulations.
