Hanoi prepares to cut off electricity and enforce a series of land violations

KHÁNH AN |

Hanoi - For cases of intentionally delaying, evading or not fulfilling commitments to self-dismantle; Tay Phuong Commune People's Committee will launch coercive measures on January 27.

According to Tay Phuong Commune People's Committee, the Commune Enforcement Committee has implemented decisions to establish a Commune Enforcement Committee and announced a plan to organize forced enforcement to implement remedial measures for 19 households violating land in the commune. The violating households are located in the Thach Xa, Binh Phu, Di Nau, and Huu Bang areas.

During the propaganda and mobilization process, many households have had clear changes in awareness. The households agreed to fulfill the financial obligation to pay administrative fines as soon as possible and signed commitments to voluntarily dismantle violating works such as factories, concrete floors... Self-disciplined compliance not only helps minimize property damage but also demonstrates the effectiveness of skillful grassroots mobilization work.

Tay Phuong Commune People's Committee affirmed that it will implement a roadmap to handle violations resolutely, without exception. For cases of intentionally delaying, evading or not fulfilling commitments to self-dismantle; local authorities have prepared a plan to mobilize all forces, machinery and forces to organize coercion according to the plan on January 27.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Luong - Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee - emphasized: "Coercion is the last but mandatory measure to ensure the strictness of the law. Local authorities always create conditions for households to voluntarily dismantle violating works before the launching day, but will resolutely handle all acts of resistance and delays.

From now until before January 27, Tay Phuong Commune People's Committee will send a document requesting Agricultural Cooperatives, Electricity Companies and clean water supply units to stop providing services at violating locations; resolutely cut off electricity and water for neighboring households who use it as a source to serve illegal works.

At the same time, assign the Economic Department to coordinate in reviewing and accurately marking the enforcement location, ensuring that the implementation process is carried out by the right people, the right acts, the right law and absolutely safe.
