At noon on September 28, 9/11 crew members on the two fishing boats in distress in Cua Viet sea area (Quang Tri province) were safely brought ashore.
Before that, this crew member was on a sunken fishing boat, had jumped into the sea and clung to a buoy more than 300m from shore.
In the conditions of big waves and strong winds, the rescue team was trying to approach, but at 12 noon this crew member jumped into the sea and swam to shore.

Discovering the crew members having jumped into the sea, the rescue forces rushed into the sea, and when they could reach them, they supported them to bring the crew members safely to shore.
Previously, as reported, on the same morning, there were 2 fishing boats moving into Cua Viet port to avoid storm No. 10, one ran aground and the other sank.
1 fisherman swam to shore himself, the border guards coordinated with the fishermen to rescue 7 crew members. As of 12:30 on September 28, 2 crew members were still missing. Rescue work is underway.
