Overcoming the strong waves to rescue 2 ships in distress in Quang Tri sea, 7 crew members were rescued

Quang Tri - Border Guard and fishermen's boats have crossed the waves to approach the distressed boat, and have now rescued 8/11 crew members.

Affected by storm No. 10, the sea area of Quang Tri province will have heavy rain and high waves. However, in the face of the emergency situation, the CN09 boat of the Quang Tri Border Guard and the fishing boat of local fishermen helped each other overcome the fierce waves to approach one of the two fishing boats in distress.

When the rescue boat arrived at the end of the boat stranded at sea, the 7 crew members were taken onto the rescue boat amid the cheers of the forces present at Cua Viet beach.

Along with 1 fisherman jumping down to swim to shore and being rescued in time, by 10:00 a.m. on September 28, 8/11 crew members had been brought safely to shore.

Earlier, on the same morning, 2 fishing boats from Ho Chi Minh City and 11 crew members moved to shore to avoid storm No. 10, 1 boat ran aground and 1 boat sank right at the Cua Viet channel gate, Quang Tri province.

The Quang Tri Border Guard, Squadron 202 of the Coast Guard, Quang Tri Provincial Police and many other forces were mobilized to deploy rescue measures.

It is known that the remaining 3 crew members jumped into the sea after the boat sank, 1 person was swinging to a buoy number 0, 2 people whose whereabouts are still unknown.
