As reported by Lao Dong newspaper, at around 4:00 p.m. on July 14, a section of road (about 1m wide, 2m long - PV) in the construction barrier area of the high-voltage metro line on the Thang Long Avenue service road suddenly subsided, breaking the barrier.
On the night of July 14, the construction unit removed the barrier and returned the entire road surface at this location.
However, according to the actual records of the reporter, the road surface restoration is not currently of guaranteed quality, rough, dusty, affecting the movement of vehicles.
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Nga (Tay Mo ward, Hanoi) said that she was surprised when after just one night the entire lot was dismantled and the road surface was returned.
"But the road surface is currently covered with many gravel and rocks, not paved with asphalt, and this morning it was very dusty," Ms. Nga shared.
On the afternoon of July 15, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong newspaper, a leader of the Hanoi Traffic Works Maintenance Board said that the unit will inspect and at the same time request the construction unit to comply with the regulations in the construction permit when returning the road surface, ensuring safety for people traveling.
