Speaking at the ceremony, Da Lat Party Committee Secretary Dang Duc Hiep emphasized: "The heroic history of the army and the people of Da Lat affirmed the important role of Da Lat - Tuyen Duc in the resistance war against the US to save the country".
In a solemn and proud atmosphere, the delegates gathered to commemorate and express their deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, revolutionary veterans, heroic martyrs and the people who have devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country.

Looking back on its 50-year development journey, Da Lat has risen strongly, from a city that suffered many consequences of war to a modern city, a famous domestic and international resort tourism center.
The city has been honored to receive many noble titles such as the First Class Labor Medal, the Third Class Independence Medal and the title of "ASEAN Clean Tourism City".

The leaders of Da Lat City emphasized that the spirit of solidarity and the strong will of previous generations is the driving force for Da Lat to continue to develop sustainably.
In the coming time, the Party Committee and the city government will be determined to implement the policies and guidelines of the Party Central Committee and Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.
The Party Committee and the city government are determined to promote the strength of national unity, aiming to build Da Lat into a smart city, a world heritage city.
