On August 29, the Da Nang Department of Construction announced information on the project to overcome the impact of storms, high tides, and the impact of sea waves on Nhu Nguyet Street (Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City).
The project is invested by the Department of Construction with a total construction investment of about 12.4 billion VND. The contractor is Nam Vinh Joint Stock Company. The Supervisory Consulting Unit is the Da Nang Infrastructure Maintenance Board.
The project belongs to group C, a level IV traffic project, implemented to repair damaged sidewalks; renovate drainage systems; supplement and elevate the structure of the top of the embankment with a wave-shaped edge to overcome the impact of storms, high tides, and waves on Nhu Nguyet Street, ensure urban aesthetics and create a highlight in the area.
The project is expected to start construction on September 3, 2025, and be completed on November 27, 2025.
