At about 12:00 on September 12, while it was raining heavily with strong winds, a green tree on Han Thuyen street, Hoa Cuong ward, Da Nang city suddenly uprooted and fell on a car parked by the roadside.
Tree trunks and many large branches spilled onto the road surface, causing traffic obstruction and potential danger to people and vehicles passing through the area.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Military Command of Hoa Cuong ward quickly mobilized officers, soldiers and militia forces to the scene to cut and collect tree trunks and branches, support handling affected vehicles, clear the road surface and ensure traffic safety.

A few minutes earlier, also in Hoa Cuong ward, a large green tree on To Huu street suddenly fell onto the road, crushing the eaves of a shop with many people gathering to shop, fortunately there were no casualties.
Rain from last night until noon today has locally flooded some areas in Hoi An ward, Tam Ky ward and Da Nang city center. On Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao streets (Hoi An ward), water rose about 0.5m in some sections, causing difficulties for people and vehicles to travel.
Functional forces and local authorities recommend that people limit moving through deeply flooded areas, do not stop and park vehicles under large green trees, proactively monitor weather developments and comply with instructions and warnings at the scene to ensure safety in conditions of heavy rain and strong winds.
