Da Nang inspects natural disaster recovery work in Nong Son commune

On November 6, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh inspected the work of overcoming natural disasters in Nong Son commune.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh praised Nong Son commune's proactiveness in developing disaster prevention and control plans, especially in evacuating nearly 1,200 flooded people to safety.

At the same time, he highly appreciated the coordination between forces and information, timely propaganda, and active cooperation with volunteer groups, thereby minimizing damage caused by floods.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee noted that Nong Son commune needs to promptly propose to the city when there are problems, especially in the work of overcoming the consequences of rain and floods, but it needs to be practical. Regarding investment funds for long-term projects, they must be fully recorded and have a comprehensive report to the city.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh noted that storm No. 13 is approaching the mainland, localities must be prepared, have specific plans to support and evacuate people; promptly report to superiors.

Responding to the recent historic flood, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Nong Son commune have activated the "4 on-site" plan, mobilizing all military forces, police, militia, and support from units, businesses and people, promptly evacuating more than 1,200 people from dangerous areas, ensuring safety of life and property.
