On the afternoon of July 7, at the Hall of the Culture House of the Armed Forces of Da Nang City (LLVT), the Military Command of Da Nang City (CHQS) organized a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Ministry of National Defense on the establishment of the Provisional Team for Searching and Repatriating Martyrs' Remains under the Military Command of Da Nang City.
Attending and directing the ceremony were Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 5; Comrade Tran Anh Tuan, City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for searching, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains of the city. Colonel Tran Huu Ich, Member of the City Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Military Command of Da Nang City, chaired the ceremony.
At the ceremony, the City Military Command announced the Decision of the Ministry of National Defense on the establishment of the Provisional Team for Searching and Repatriating Martyrs' Remains under the Da Nang City Military Command; and at the same time announced the Decision of the Political Department Party Committee on the establishment of the Party Cell of the Team for Searching and Repatriating Martyrs' Remains.
The team includes 54 officers and soldiers selected from agencies and units in the city's armed forces, with the task of advising and organizing the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains in the city in the coming time.
The establishment of the Team for searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains is of great significance, contributing to concretizing and promoting the implementation of the Campaign "500 days and nights searching for, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains" in Da Nang City.
This is a sacred political task, reflecting the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", the responsibility and deep feelings of the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of the city towards the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Speaking to direct at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 5 requested the Da Nang City Military Command to continue to pay attention to fostering and improving professional qualifications and skills for officers and soldiers of the Team for searching and repatriating martyrs' remains; promote the application of technology in collecting, processing, and digitizing information, serving the work of searching, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains.
The process of performing tasks must do a good job of propaganda, providing information, closely coordinating with local Party committees, authorities and functional forces in surveying, verifying, and collecting information; organizing the clearance of bombs and mines, explosives, ensuring absolute safety for people, vehicles and equipment.
At the same time, the Team needs to maintain solidarity, unity in thought and action, well implement regimes and policies, and ensure the completion of tasks with the highest sense of responsibility," Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai emphasized.
The establishment of the Team for searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains is an important basis for the Da Nang City Military Command to improve the quality and effectiveness of searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains; contributing to deeply expressing gratitude for the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who bravely sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.
On the same day, the Standing Committee of the City Military Party Committee also awarded decisions of Military Region 5 and the City Military Command on transferring and appointing officers and professional soldiers to hold positions and work positions in the Team, ensuring quick and stable organization, going into regular and effective operation.
