On September 19, according to the office of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung signed and issued an official dispatch on the implementation of tasks assigned by the City People's Committee and the City People's Committee Leaders, which included directives to tighten public service discipline.
According to the assessment of the City People's Committee, in the past time, departments, agencies, and authorities of communes, wards, and special zones have carried out work and updated progress to monitoring software. Compared to July, the rate of work completion has increased, and the number of overdue tasks has decreased. However, the fact that some units still leave tasks overdue requires remedial measures.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested heads of agencies, units and localities to review all assigned tasks. The focus in the coming time is to focus on definitively handling 31 overdue tasks that have not been completed, including 18 outstanding tasks and 13 tasks arising in August.
All implementation results must be reported to the City People's Committee before September 30, in which it is required to explain the reasons for the contents that cannot be completed. For units assigned many tasks, city leaders requested to have solutions to improve the rate of timely completion, end the situation of delays in September and regularly update to the task monitoring system.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with the Office of the City People's Committee to monitor and urge progress. The results of handling work will be used as a basis for evaluating officials monthly, quarterly and annually.
Along with that, the Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee will directly work with departments, branches, and localities with a high rate of overdue work to direct handling. The City People's Committee also proposed that the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee participate in inspecting and supervising the process of resolving work of agencies and units in the area according to regulations.
