The Trinh Van Bo - Tran Huu Duc road (section through Cau Dien ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) has recently experienced prolonged congestion, especially on rainy days and rush hour.
After the survey, the Traffic Maintenance Board (Hanoi Department of Transport) in coordination with the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi Police proposed a plan to turn off the light signal and close the Tran Huu Duc - Nguyen Van Giap intersection to reduce congestion on the above road axis.

On the morning of February 24, the turning off of traffic lights and barriers at the intersection was carried out.
The street lighting from Trinh Van Bo - Tran Huu Duc was increased to 98 seconds of green light and 81 seconds of red light (previously, the red light was more than 100 seconds, the green light was only from 25 - 40 seconds depending on the time).

According to the new traffic organization method, during the rush hour this morning (February 24), the congestion has significantly decreased despite the large number of vehicles circulating.
The authorities are on duty to regulate and guide people to follow the new traffic organization method.

The authorities will continue to monitor the traffic situation during the pilot period to have a reasonable adjustment plan to completely resolve the congestion on the Tran Huu Duc - Trinh Van Bo road axis.
