On the morning of June 25, Lieutenant Colonel Le Truong Giang - Political Commissar of the 968 Division Martyrs' Remains Collection Team said that this unit is continuing to expand the search area for martyrs' remains in the Ban Chua area (Cam Tuyen commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province).
From June 16 to early morning of June 25, the unit discovered and collected 10 martyrs remains in the Ban Chua area Lieutenant Colonel Le Truong Giang informed.

The remains of martyrs were found at a depth of about 1.2m and were 2m to 4m apart with some relics such as: rubber sandals, shallots, belts, hoes...
In which, there is a personal wallet and a bottle of Penicillin in the remains of the first and eighth martyrs. These two relics have been taken for examination but no information related to the identities of the martyrs has been discovered.
It is known that the area where the remains of the above martyrs were discovered could previously be a safe area with favorable terrain, so from around 1966 to 1969, the martyrs who died were brought here for burial. In 1998, 45 martyrs' remains were excavated near this location.
Currently, 10 remains of martyrs are being brought to the community learning center of Ban Chua village for worship, waiting for a memorial service and burial.
