At around 9:45 a.m. on September 25, authorities found three children from a family in Kim Tan commune, Kim Son district (Ninh Binh) who had been missing for the past few days.
Speaking to Lao Dong reporter, the representative of Kim Son District Police said that at that time, the authorities found all 3 children in a 2-story house. The location where they were found was about 100m from their house.
"At the time of discovery, the doors of this house were locked. The authorities broke the lock and brought the children out safely," said a representative of the Kim Son District Police.
According to the representative of the Kim Son District Police, the two-story house where the children were found is a solid house with people living there and is only about 100 meters away from the children's house. According to initial assessment, the children may have gone there to play, then the homeowner had to go back to his hometown and did not know the children were still inside so he locked the door.
"During the days at home, the children cooked their own meals, so when the authorities found them, their health was stable. Currently, the authorities are working with the children and their families to clarify the incident," added a representative of the Kim Son District Police.
Previously, as Lao Dong Electronic reported, at 8:30 p.m. on September 22, Mr. Tran Van Tuan, born in 1985 (residing in Hamlet 12, Kim Tan Commune, Kim Son District) went to Kim Tan Commune Police to report that his 3 children were missing. Immediately upon receiving the news, the local authorities mobilized forces to coordinate with the family to search.
