Quang Tri - Provincial Police announces 2026 amnesty decision for 25 prisoners at 2 detention centers.

On June 1, Quang Tri Provincial Police said that they had just held a ceremony to announce the President's special amnesty decision for 2026 for 25 prisoners serving prison sentences at Detention Center No. 1 and Detention Center No. 2 under Quang Tri Provincial Police.

In this amnesty phase, Detention Center No. 1 has 10 inmates, Detention Center No. 2 has 15 inmates who have been granted amnesty by the President.

These are prisoners who have made many efforts to rise up in labor and reform; well comply with the regulations and rules of law in the process of serving their sentences.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Le Phi Hung - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Head of the Criminal Judgment Enforcement Agency of Quang Tri Provincial Police - wished that the special amnesty prisoners would soon eliminate the feeling of guilt, be steadfast in the face of the temptations of society, and absolutely not re-offend.

At the same time, when returning to their localities, amnesty prisoners need to quickly report to the authorities, strictly comply with regulations at their place of residence; use genuine labor to build a life, take care of their families and contribute to their homeland.

Representatives of the amnesty inmates committed that after returning to their place of residence, they will strive and be determined to soon integrate and stabilize their lives, stay away from the path of violating the law to become useful citizens for society.
