On January 17, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Terrorism Prevention and Control of Dak Lak province informed that the unit had just coordinated with the Domestic Security Department (Provincial Police) to inspect and guide terrorism prevention and control work at the police of 4 border communes including: Ia R've, Ia Lop, Ea Bung and Buon Don.
These are strategic areas, easily vulnerable, easily exploited and exploited by hostile forces to carry out terrorist and sabotage activities on the border line.
This activity aims to contribute to effectively serving the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, taking place from January 19 to 25.

Major Le Tien Dat, Head of Ia Lop Commune Police, said that before the 14th National Congress, the unit regularly coordinates with local authorities to propagate and educate people to recognize the plots and tricks of hostile forces, especially in ethnic minority areas and border areas.
The unit also effectively organizes patrol and control work in the area, strictly manages activities passing through the border area; early identification of risks, proactively prevents and promptly handles arising situations, not to be passive or surprised.
According to Major Dat, proactively preventing, combating and early identifying risks helps grassroots police forces closely follow the area, maintaining security and order in the border area during major events of the Party and State.
At the police of border communes, the Domestic Security Department (Provincial Police) has pointed out some shortcomings and obstacles that units need to overcome to improve the effectiveness of terrorism prevention and control.
At the same time, it is proposed that in the coming time, units continue to strengthen propaganda on the Law on Terrorism Prevention and Control; identify terrorism prevention and control as a regular and continuous task, taking prevention as the main focus; strengthen coordination, information exchange, and firmly grasp the situation related to terrorism prevention and control.
Inspection and guidance work has contributed to improving the capacity of grassroots police forces in counter-terrorism work in border areas. Thereby, contributing to creating a solid foundation to serve socio-economic development, maintaining stability and peace in Dak Lak province.
