Accordingly, at the meeting of members of the Provincial People's Committee on the morning of April 15, Mr. Ho Van Muoi - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Chairman of the People's Committee of districts and cities to urgently report to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Party Committee for comments on the merger of the commune administrative unit.
In particular, option 1, the locality arranged 71 communal administrative units to 28 units, down 60.57%.
Option 2, all agreed to arrange 71 communal administrative units with 28 units. However, for Gia Nghia City 6 wards (Quang Thanh, Nghia Thanh, Nghia Thanh, Nghia Trung, Nghia Tan and Nghia Phu) entered into a ward.
And Dak Nia commune merged with Dak Ha commune; Dak R’moan commune imported with Truong Xuan commune, Nam N’jang commune.
In addition, there is a proposal to arrange 71 communal administrative units to 27 units. Particularly 7 communes and wards of Gia Nghia city entered into 1 ward; Quang Thanh Ward imported with Dak Ha commune.
Absorb the guidance of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Home Affairs to request the Chairman of the People's Committees of districts and cities to send their opinions to the Provincial People's Committee (via the Department of Home Affairs) to report to the Project Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Dak Nong province currently has 8 district -level administrative units (Gia Nghia city and 7 districts) with 71 communes, wards and townships.
The natural area of the province has 6,509.3 km² and the population size, including a permanent population in the whole province, has more than 750,000 people.
