Dak Nong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen requested investors to speed up the progress of 2 projects to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On December 2, Mr. Le Trong Yen - Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee - led a working delegation to inspect two projects to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and landslides in Tuy Duc district.

These two projects are invested by Tuy Duc District Project Management and Land Fund Development Board.

The project to overcome landslides and natural disaster consequences on Provincial Road 1 (section through Quang Tam commune, Tuy Duc district) has an investment of 90 billion VND. The project has a total route length of 4.34km.

The project has handed over 90% of the construction site to the contractor, corresponding to a route length of 3.8km. As of November 20, the project has completed 20% of the contract value. The contractor commits to completing 40% of the contract value by December 31, 2024.

The project to overcome damage caused by natural disasters and landslides in Bu Krac and Bu Prang 1A hamlets (Quang Truc commune, Tuy Duc district) has a total investment of 30 billion VND. The project will be implemented in 2024.

The investor said that the project started on October 18, 2024, and has so far completed an estimated 30% of its value. It is expected that by December 31, 2024, all items of land leveling, roads, domestic water supply, and electricity supply will reach 100% of the volume.

According to Tuy Duc District People's Committee, the two projects encountered some objective difficulties: The rainy season ended late and the adjustment of the route to minimize the area of land recovered from people also affected the overall progress of the project.

Tuy Duc district also committed to disbursing 100% of the allocated capital of the two projects before December 31, 2024.

Mr. Le Trong Yen said that the two above projects use the central budget reserve for localities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, so they are very meaningful.

Provincial Road 1 has been repaired and upgraded, which will help people travel more conveniently and safely. The investment project to build a residential area will help people in landslide areas have a new, safe and stable place to live.

The Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requested Tuy Duc district to continue urging contractors to speed up the implementation of the two above-mentioned projects.
