According to statistics, currently, the whole Dak Nong province still has about 6,023 households living in temporary, dilapidated houses.
Of which, 1,755 households are eligible and have a very urgent need for housing support from programs and policies.
In 2025, Dak Nong province plans to support the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for 1,755 households. In order to unify, synchronize and achieve the highest results in implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households, Dak Nong province has proactively and promptly established a provincial Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee consists of 26 members headed by Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. To date, all 8/8 districts, cities and 71/71 communes, wards and towns have established a steering committee to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses at the same level.
Speaking at the first meeting of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, Mr. Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that Dak Nong province identified this as the task of the entire political system and the entire people to participate, join hands and contribute, and be unanimous with the goal of "no one is left behind".
Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is a major policy that needs to be done wholeheartedly. The work of leadership, direction and implementation needs to be determined, resolute, ensuring clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities and clear time.
