On the afternoon of May 27, functional agencies of Dak Lak province are investigating the cause of the sleeper bus fire that occurred while the vehicle was being repaired.
According to initial information, at about 11:30 am on the same day, a sleeper bus of H.V bus company (running the Dak Lak - Da Nang route) was being repaired at a garage in Ea Hiao commune, Dak Lak province when it suddenly caught fire fiercely.
The fire was determined to have broken out from the front of the car and then quickly spread, covering the entire vehicle. Discovering the incident, many people used mini fire extinguishers and water hoses to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force quickly arrived at the scene to control the fire.
However, due to the strong fire, the passenger car was completely burned down, leaving only the iron frame exposed.
Fortunately, the fire did not cause any casualties.
