Accordingly, the project of Mr. Nguyen Van C's family (house number 31) is excavating foundations for construction. Due to the impact of deep soil excavation, house number 33 Thanh Thien street adjacent to it is seriously subsided.
At the scene, the facade and the entire large wall of house number 33 showed many cracks, concrete structures were broken, broken and locally collapsed. The entire structure was deformed and tilted completely towards the foundation pit being dug, waiting to collapse.
When the incident occurred, the house contained a large amount of goods and valuable assets. Fortunately, at this time there were no people inside, so there were no casualties.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces of Bac Giang ward were present at the scene, stretched warning ropes, blocked the dangerous area and diverted traffic to ensure safety for people.
At the same time, local authorities are working with the investor of the project under construction and affected households to agree on a remedial plan.
Through initial review, in addition to the tilted house, about 10 neighboring households are also at risk of being affected. Bac Giang Ward has urgently relocated households in the dangerous area to a safe place until the incident is thoroughly resolved.
According to local authorities, the project owner has contacted the construction unit to dismantle and is expected to complete it on June 3 to soon stabilize the situation and ensure safety for people in the area.
