Re-naming new communes and wards in Ninh Thuan from the number of places

    Ninh Thuan - The locality named communes and wards from numbers, now becoming familiar place names.

    On April 25, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee issued a Resolution at the 24th Conference of the 14th Provincial Party Committee.

    According to the Resolution, Ninh Thuan province agreed to adjust the orientation of the names of communes and wards of the new administrative units after the arrangement.

    Specifically, Phan Rang 1 ward (on the basis of merging Kinh Dinh ward, Phu Ha ward, Dai Son ward, Dao Long ward) changed its name to Phan Rang ward; Phan Rang 2 Ward (on the basis of merging My Binh ward, My Dong ward, My Hai ward, Dong Hai ward (except Phu Tho village)) changed its name to Dong Hai ward.

    Phan Rang 3 ward (based on the merger of Van Hai ward (belonging to Phan Rang - Thap Cham city), Khanh Hai town (belonging to Ninh Hai district)) changed its name to Ninh Chu ward.

    Phan Rang 4 ward (based on the merger of Phuoc My ward, Bao An ward, Thanh Hai commune) changed its name to Bao An ward and Phan Rang 5 ward (based on the merger of Do Vinh ward (belonging to Phan Rang - Thap Cham city), Nhon Son commune (belonging to Ninh Son district)) changed its name to Do Vinh ward.

    Ninh Phuoc 1 commune (based on the merger of Phuoc Dan town, Phuoc Hai commune, Phuoc Thuan commune) changed its name to Ninh Phuoc commune.

    Ninh Phuoc 2 commune (based on the merger of Phuoc Huu commune, Phuoc Thai commune) changed its name to Phuoc Huu commune.

    Ninh Phuoc 3 commune (based on the merger of Phuoc Vinh commune, Phuoc Son commune, Phuoc Hau commune) changed its name to Phuoc Hau commune.

    Thuan Nam 1 commune (based on the merger of Phuoc Nam commune, Phuoc Ninh commune, Phuoc Minh commune) changed its name to Thuan Nam commune.

    Thuan Nam 2 commune (on the basis of merging Phuoc Diem commune, Ca Na commune) changed its name to Ca Na commune. Thuan Nam 3 commune (on the basis of merging Phuoc Ha commune, Nhi Ha commune) changed its name to Phuoc Ha commune.

    Thuan Nam 4 commune (based on the merger of Phu Tho village in Dong Hai ward (belonging to Phan Rang - Thap Cham city), An Hai commune (belonging to Ninh Phuoc district), Phuoc Dinh commune (belonging to Thuan Nam district) changed its name to Phuoc Dinh commune...

    In addition, the Resolution also agreed on the draft project of arrangement of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan province. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee directed the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the acquisition and summarizing the opinions and conclusions at the conference to coordinate with the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to direct the completion of the above project.
