According to the reporter's investigation, on July 31, the Vinh Phuc Regional Project Management Board issued a bidding invitation notice for the package: "Providing, installing and building pumping stations (wastewater) and the remaining collection network belonging to Vinh Yen and Vinh Phuc wards".
The above bidding package belongs to Component Project 2: Drainage and Wastewater Treatment of Vinh Yen City phase 2 - 1 of 7 components of the Project Program for Development of Grade II Cities (green cities) - Vinh Phuc Provincial Component Project, borrowing capital from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The construction package of Component 2 Project was widely bid through the network, with a price of more than 141 billion VND from the provincial budget counterpart fund and ADB loans.
In the near future, after the above bidding package completes the contractor selection work, the construction unit will deploy the bidding package with the main tasks including: Construction, supply and installation of equipment, general items, construction permits and discharge, fire prevention and fighting.
In the Dinh Trung area and part of Lien Bao belonging to Vinh Phuc ward - a system will be built: Wastewater pipes, pressure pipes, manholes, pumping stations, wastewater separation wells...
In the Thanh Tru area in Vinh Yen ward - a wastewater collection system will be built: Pumping station, pressure pipes, drainage culverts, pumping station manholes, wastewater separation wells; rainwater drainage system: box culverts, rainwater drainage manholes, rainwater discharge gates.
Project of the Program for Development of Grade II Cities (green cities) - Vinh Phuc province component project, borrowing capital from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with a total investment of 2,045.2 billion VND.
Of which, ODA funding is 1,445.5 billion VND, ODA (ADF) capital is 934.2 billion VND; concessional loan (OCR) capital is 458.81 billion VND; non-refundable aid capital is 44.6 billion VND; Vietnam's counterpart capital is 599.64 billion VND.
The project includes 7 components with 8 construction packages, implemented in the former Vinh Phuc province area with a total land area to be recovered of 44.16ha.
The goal of the project is to gradually implement the construction of Vinh Phuc urban infrastructure according to the general plan of the province, which has been approved by the Prime Minister, and gradually complete the wastewater treatment system in the old Vinh Yen area to improve environmental sanitation conditions, preserve and maintain the area of Dam Vac lake.
Thereby, contributing to building Vinh Yen area with technical infrastructure and social infrastructure in a modern direction, linking economic development with a green growth model. At the same time, creating space and green park belts to serve the community and improve the urban landscape environment of Vinh Phuc.
