Thi Tinh River is one of the major rivers in Binh Duong province. The river originates from Dau Tieng district, flows through Ben Cat city, down to Thu Dau Mot city and joins the Saigon River.
The road along Thi Tinh River is currently just a dirt road. Some sections through the central area of Ben Cat city have been invested.
Recently, the People's Committee of Ben Cat City held a meeting to approve the proposed investment project to build a road along the Thi Tinh River, from Cau Do to Ben Tranh communal house.
The investment in the project will increase the connectivity of urban areas along the Thi Tinh River through the center of Ben Cat city. Thereby, contributing to improving the landscape and developing urban areas along the Thi Tinh River.
The newly built project is more than 1 km long, with a road surface width of 25 m, and a vertical drainage system, trees, lighting, etc.
The project has a total investment of more than 420 billion VND. The expected implementation and completion time is in the period of 2025-2029.
In fact, the location of the Thi Tinh River road is near the center of Ben Cat city, around the urban development. Opposite the project is a residential area, currently the enterprise has built a road along the river.
The section along the riverbank where the project is currently being implemented still has mud, overgrown with grass and trees.
