According to Decision No. 2093/QD-UBND dated October 15, 2024 of the People's Committee of Kien An District (old), the project to renovate and upgrade lane 243 Hoang Quoc Viet (from Hoang Quoc Viet Street to Khuc Tri Street) has a total investment of VND 33.670 billion.
The project includes items: demolition of old traffic infrastructure assets; investment in renovating and upgrading lane 243 of Hoang Quoc Viet Street, 405.62 m long. In which, the power system, water supply, construction of drainage system, lighting, synchronous telecommunications, expansion and asphalt concrete paving of the road surface will be moved.
The project is implemented to contribute to urban beautification, creating traffic connection between Hoang Quoc Viet - Phan Dang Luu - Khuc Tri - Nguyen Cong My route, helping to reduce traffic congestion in the area during rush hour.
In October, contractors will start construction, expected to be completed in December 2025. The Kien An Project Management Board requests contractors to complete the license, ensuring safety, technical quality, and aesthetics of the project; speeding up progress, serving people's lives. Residential groups propagate and mobilize people to support the project to be implemented smoothly. The ward police ensure security and order, creating conditions for the contractor to work on schedule.
