On August 12, according to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, contractors are focusing on machinery and human resources to construct items of the Ke Go Lake Upgrade and Repair Project in Cam Due Commune (old Cam My Commune).
Of which, many excavators are constructing new construction items to release floodwaters, many workers are constructing items to prevent landslides on the hillside at this flood drainage. Another group of machines and workers are upgrading the main dam.

The Ke Go Lake upgrade and repair project has a total investment of 350 billion VND from the central budget, invested by the Irrigation and Construction Management Board 4.
The project is constructed by a joint venture of Joint Stock Company 47 - Lilama10 Joint Stock Company - 465 Construction Joint Stock Company.
The project includes items: Repairing and upgrading the main dam, auxiliary dams 1 and 2, Doc Mieu spillway, water drainage culvert, temple spillway management area, building new floodgates.



The project will be implemented from December 2024. According to the schedule, it will be completed after 18 months of construction.
Ke Go Lake was built in 1976, with a capacity of 345 million m3, providing irrigation water for agricultural production in the old districts including Cam Xuyen, Thach Ha and Ha Tinh City.


Before implementing the upgrade and repair project, Ke Go Lake had many items that were degraded and damaged, potentially endangering the safety of the project and causing insecurity for people in the downstream area.
