The working delegation directly visited and inspected the construction site at 5 key traffic projects: Project to invest in the construction of Nguyen Trai bridge and urban embellishment of the surrounding area (Nguyen Trai - Le Hong Phong intersection); Project to invest in the construction of the intersection between Bui Vien street and Le Hong Phong street; Project to invest in the construction of the intersection between Bui Vien street and Vo Nguyen Giap street; Project to invest in the construction of the road connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10 section passing through Kien An area (Truong Chinh road intersection) and Project to invest in the construction of Ring Road 2 section Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien street (Hai Thanh bridge area).
At the construction sites, the construction contractors all organized independent construction teams, mobilized maximum manpower, machinery, specialized equipment and fully implemented salary, allowance, and bonus regimes to encourage workers to work throughout the September 2 holiday to ensure the set progress.
At the Investment Project to build the road connecting National Highway 5 with National Highway 10, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Chau emphasized that this is a project of strategic significance for socio-economic development, urban embellishment and completion of inter-regional connecting transport infrastructure, which has been identified as one of the key routes included in the City Party Congress Resolution. The Secretary of the City Party Committee praised the sense of responsibility of people in the area who have agreed and voluntarily handed over the site for the project; and at the same time requested Party committees, local authorities, the Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at the grassroots level to continue to participate synchronously, promote propaganda and mobilize the remaining households to urgently hand over the site completely.
Regarding the regimes and policies of compensation and support for people, functional agencies must study and apply them at the maximum level and in accordance with legal regulations so that people can enjoy them fully and satisfactorily. Construction and supervision consulting units must strictly control techniques and aesthetics, absolutely not because of progress that they underestimate the quality of the project or neglect labor safety. At the same time, apply all measures to ensure absolute safety of people's lives and property, minimize dust, noise and impact on people's travel in the area. If problems arising beyond their authority, the investor shall directly report to the leaders of the City People's Committee and the Secretary of the City Party Committee to direct timely removal, not to let administrative procedures slow down construction progress.
With the remaining 4 projects, the Secretary of the City Party Committee acknowledged and praised the spirit of urgent and responsible work of the construction units and the team of workers at the construction site who put aside the joy of holidays with their families to maintain continuous production pace.
At the same time, requesting contractors to strictly comply with technical regulations, ensure absolute labor safety and closely follow the committed "road markings" of progress, striving to complete and open traffic for underpass items before the Lunar New Year 2027 to serve people's convenient travel.
The City Police shall preside over and coordinate with functional forces and contractors to develop a plan to organize scientific, remote, and reasonable traffic diversion at intersections and roads under construction, ensuring smooth traffic safety, limiting congestion, and creating maximum favorable conditions for units transporting materials and machinery for construction.
