Request to handle people entering the expressway construction site for exercise and livestreaming

Lang Son - Many people and vehicles arbitrarily enter the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway construction site to exercise and livestream, while heavy-loading machinery is operating.

On September 5th, information from Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Expressway Joint Stock Company said that the unit has just issued a document requesting the People's Committee of Lang Son province to direct the handling of the situation of people and drivers arbitrarily entering the expressway under construction.

According to the project enterprise, contractors are mobilizing manpower and equipment to speed up progress.

However, recently, many people still drive vehicles into the construction site to circulate. Some cases are walking for exercise, gathering, flying kites, cycling or livestreaming on the route.

The construction site currently has hundreds of rollers, heavy trucks, and excavators operating continuously. These devices frequently move and turn around, while the driver has limited visibility and many blind spots, making it difficult to detect people or civilian vehicles appearing suddenly.

Many sections of the route are still in the process of excavation and embankment, the road surface has soil and rocks, deep holes and temporary slopes; the traffic safety system is not complete.

According to businesses, personal vehicles entering the construction site may lose control, overturn or collide with construction machinery.

Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Expressway Joint Stock Company said that it has repeatedly requested the authorities of communes and wards along the route to coordinate propaganda, but violations still occur. This threatens the safety of people, workers and equipment, and may disrupt construction.

The business proposed that Lang Son Provincial Police direct traffic police, commune and ward police to increase patrols, detect and handle people and vehicles intentionally entering the construction site.

Local authorities are requested to disseminate the regulations to each village, residential group and household; guide people to use legal and safe people's roads. Communes and wards along the route also need to arrange hotlines to receive feedback on violations and the security and order situation in the construction area.

The Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway project is about 60 km long, passing through 7 communes and wards of Lang Son province, with a total investment of 11,029 billion VND according to the public-private partnership method.

When completed, the road will connect with the Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway, forming an expressway corridor from Hanoi to Huu Nghi international border gate.
