On March 2, information from Phu Tho Provincial Police said that to ensure the implementation of the work of issuing electronic ID cards and identification cards to people, agencies and organizations in the whole province, the Provincial Police announced the time and location for receiving applications for issuing electronic ID cards and identification cards to people, agencies and organizations in the whole province.
The time for receiving documents starts from March 1, 2025.
The police force collects records at 14 locations in the province, as follows:

According to the Government's Decree regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Public Security, from March 1, the local public security apparatus will be reorganized and streamlined from 3 levels to 2 levels (provincial police and commune police).
Also in this arrangement and streamlining, the organizational apparatus of the police force will continue to reduce 1 Department under the Ministry of Public Security (merging the Department of Security Industry and the Institute of Science and Technology), 7 departments, 694 district-level police (equivalent to department level); reduce 5,916 teams under district-level police.
