Lang Luong school (Tra Tap commune, Nam Tra My, old Quang Nam) has recently become a place to evacuate people in the village to avoid landslides. The small school located in the middle of the remote mountains of Tra Tap, which was once peaceful with the sound of students, is now a temporary shelter for people when heavy rain continued, and rocks and soil continuously slid down.
From the afternoon of October 27, the working group urgently transported emergency necessities to the school. Rice, noodles, raincoats, flashlights, drinking water... have helped people have more conditions to cope with the new rain.
Accessing the school is extremely difficult because from the commune center to the school, motorbikes have to walk for more than an hour; in the sun, they can take a two-wheeled pickup truck, but in the rain, they have to walk for more than two hours through the steep slope and the stream flowing rapidly.
Lang Luong School is one of the most remote schools in Tra Tap Commune, located deep in the mountains. The school only teach primary school, with 15-20 students per year. This is a "three no's": no national grid, no phone signal, no clean water. People mainly work in the fields, and their lives are still difficult.

On September 7, 2025, the Lang Luong Primary School Point project was officially inaugurated and handed over, in time for the new school year for teachers and students in the highlands. The total construction cost is about 740 million VND, equipped with solar power, TVs, refrigerators, hot and cold containers, along with charity programs and gifts for students and households in Lang Luong village.
