Faced with the complicated developments of prolonged heavy rain causing deep flooding in Dai Loc commune, Da Nang city, on the afternoon of October 27, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Defense Command 5 - Dien Ban urgently coordinated with the local militia, police and mass organizations to organize the evacuation and bring the old man Truong Thi Mai (82 years old), residing in Nghia My village, Dai Loc commune to a safe place.

Despite the heavy rain and rapid rising water, in the spirit of "Serving the People", the participating forces overcame difficulties, approached isolated houses, carried Mai out of the deeply flooded area, and supported the family in moving essential belongings, ensuring safety of life and property.
