On June 22, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the unit is implementing the "Hope Station" model.
This is a model aimed at effectively implementing the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State on drug prevention and control; reducing the rate of relapse and preventing the emergence of new addicts in the community.
Over the past time, the model has been implemented in some communes and wards in the province.
From the initial support of the model, many cases have had more motivation to overcome self-consciousness and rebuild their lives.
After 2 years of drug detoxification, Mr. Nguyen Huu Khue, residing in Dai Lanh commune, returned to his locality and was introduced by "Tram hy vong" to work at Nam Sao Dai Lanh Tourism Joint Stock Company.
For Mr. Khue, the new job not only helps stabilize his income but is also an opportunity for him to start over after years of mistakes.
Overcoming psychological barriers, he is striving to learn, work hard and gradually integrate into the new environment.
At the beginning of June, the "Hope Station" model was also officially launched in Thuan Nam, Dai Lanh communes and Bao An ward.
Immediately after going into operation, the model members have implemented many tasks such as psychological counseling, legal propaganda, job support, creating livelihoods and coordinating management and prevention of relapse.
According to Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, although newly deployed, initial results show that "Hope Station" is not only a place to connect support resources but also a spiritual support, helping people after detoxification and people reintegrating into the community have more faith and motivation to build a new life.
Post-detoxification people get preferential loans of 100 million VND
In June 2026, Khanh Hoa had the first case of accessing preferential loans of 100 million VND to invest in production and stabilize life.
This resource was obtained thanks to the proactive implementation of the Propaganda and Consulting Plan of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police.
The unit has actively coordinated with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to organize in-depth dissemination conferences on Decision No. 08 of the Prime Minister. Specifically, Anh Dung Commune Police have reviewed, guided and completed dossiers for a citizen after drug detoxification in the area. This citizen has been disbursed 100 million VND according to Decision No. 08 to invest in a cow farming model.
