Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do has just signed Decision No. 2370 on adjusting the investment policy for the project of Upgrading the road to the Relic Site of Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command in Muong Phang.
According to the decision, the total investment of the project was adjusted to increase from more than 167.3 billion VND to 170.5 billion VND. Of which, ADB (Asian Development Bank) loan capital decreased from nearly VND 131.2 billion to more than VND 110.6 billion. counterpart capital (local budget) increased from over 36.1 to over VND59.8 billion.
The decision also adjusted the project implementation period (approved in 2017-2021) to 2017-2021 and 2025.
Pursuant to the Decision, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Tourism Project Implementation Board are responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies and units to organize the implementation of further work to ensure compliance with the provisions of law.
The project to upgrade the road to the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command Site in Muong Phang is a grade V mountainous traffic road, with a length of more than 17 km.
The route starts at Km0+507 (Dien Bien Phu ward) and ends at Km17+975 connecting with Provincial Road 141 Na Nhan - Muong Phang (Muong Phang commune).
