The Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee has just issued a Decision to establish Dien Bien Phu Newspaper on the basis of merging Dien Bien Phu Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station from June 15, 2025.
This Decision also stipulates that the apparatus of Dien Bien Phu Newspaper will have an Editorial Board, including: Editor-in-Chief; no more than 3 Deputy Editor-in-Chief.
Dien Bien Phu Newspaper has 7 specialized rooms, including: Office; Technical and Technology Department; Secretariat - Editorial Department; News - Political Department; Electronics and Digital content Production Department; Ethnic Radio and Television Department; Specialist Department - Arts and Entertainment.
After reorganization, 133 civil servant positions were assigned (including adjusting 106 people working with state budget salaries from the government sector to the Party sector to assign Dien Bien Phu Newspaper).
Also according to this Decision, Dien Bien Phu Newspaper is a newspaper of the Provincial Party Committee, under the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee. The function is to be the mouthpiece of the Party Committee, government and people of Dien Bien ethnic groups; to be an information bridge between the Party, government and local people; to be a public service unit, operating press activities according to Party regulations and State laws.
Dien Bien Phu Newspaper uses the stamp according to the system of the party organization. The document format of Dien Bien Phu Newspaper is implemented according to Party regulations.
