Dien Bien - In the context of many difficulties, the province collected nearly 900 billion VND in budget revenue, an increase of nearly 60% over the same period.

On June 2, the Dien Bien Provincial Statistics Office said that the total state budget revenue in the first 5 months of 2025 reached VND 892.23 billion, an increase of 59.77% over the same period last year.

Of which, domestic revenue is estimated at 643.95 billion VND, up 31.67%; real estate revenue reached 135.8 billion VND, up 170.08%; revenue from the public and non-state-owned enterprises sector reached 194.89 billion VND, up 17.12%; mineral exploitation rights fee collection reached 30.45 billion VND, up 303.96%; personal income tax reached 39.58 billion VND, up 15.66%.

The revenue of aid mobilized for contributions is estimated at VND245.99 billion, up VND339.5% over the same period.

Total state budget expenditure in the first 5 months of 2025 is estimated at nearly VND 8,000 billion, up 20.19% over the same period. Of which, development investment expenditure reached over VND 2,460 billion, up 4.4%; regular expenditure reached over VND 5,512 billion, up 29.14%.

Total import and export turnover is estimated at 58.26 million USD, up 1.85% over the same period. Of which, export turnover is estimated at 42.04 million USD, up 11.87%; import turnover is estimated at 16.22 million USD, down 17.33%.

In particular, the production index of the entire industry is estimated to increase by 10.02% over the same period (in 2024 it increased by 9.22%) this is the highest growth rate in the 5th period of 2021-2025.

The number of tourists to Dien Bien province in the first 5 months of 2025 reached nearly 724,000, down 42.89% over the same period. Total revenue from tourism activities reached nearly 1,310 billion VND, down 42.78% over the same period last year.
