On March 9, EVNCPC said it had synchronously implemented many solutions to ensure safe and stable power supply, serving the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
EVNCPC identifies power supply for election day as a key task. The Corporation requests member Power Companies to urgently review and summarize the number of polling and counting locations in their managed areas. On that basis, units develop detailed power supply plans for each area, especially key points.
Units are also required to arrange forces to direct leadership, dispatch, operate and repair. Manpower, materials, equipment, vehicles and backup power sources are fully prepared to be ready to handle arising situations. During the election period, the electricity sector will not perform grid-based tasks that cause power outages to customers, except for handling incidents.
Monitoring the operation of the power system has been strengthened. Units regularly check the load status of power lines and substations, promptly detecting the risk of overload. For 110kV high-load power lines, dispatchers must report and coordinate handling to ensure safe and continuous operation.
EVNCPC also strengthens the information and reporting regime throughout the system. On-duty shifts at member power companies regularly report on the operation of the power system, labor safety and fire and explosion prevention. When detecting signs of abnormalities or incidents, the unit must report immediately to be directed to handle them promptly.
EVNCPC leaders said that the Corporation has directed units to prepare specific power supply plans for each polling station, arrange continuous on-duty forces and strengthen operational inspection. The electricity industry is determined to ensure stable power supply, contributing to the success of the election day.
