On May 12, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed about the draft dossier adjusting the Provincial Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The adjustment of the provincial planning is built on the basis of a synchronous legal and political system. Thereby, it aims to contribute to building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system, operating effectively, efficiently, and efficiently.
According to the draft, Dak Lak province sets a target for the average growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP at comparative prices) in the period 2026 - 2030 to reach 11%/year or more; GRDP per capita by 2030 to reach 157 million VND/person or more.

In the period 2026 - 2030, total social investment capital is expected to reach over 625. 000 billion VND, accounting for about 35% of GRDP at current prices. Total export value reaches over 13 billion USD, an average increase of 5 - 6%/year.
The tourism sector is expected to grow strongly with a total number of visitors to the province reaching about 43 million, an average increase of 10.97%/year; total tourism revenue reaching about 97.5 billion VND, an average increase of 14.5%/year.
In addition, the province strives to reduce the average poverty rate by 2%/year or more; specifically, the poverty rate among ethnic minorities decreases by 3%/year or more. By 2030, there will be basically no more poor households according to the multidimensional poverty standard for the period 2022 - 2025.
Vision to 2050, Dak Lak strives to become a fairly developed province of the country, with a modern economy, reasonable structure, green and sustainable growth.
Mr. Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, determined that the dossier has initially clearly defined the development orientation towards integration, linkage and sustainability; shaping the organization of development space, urban system, economic corridors, driving zones, growth poles.
At the same time, setting out development orientations for key industries and fields, strategic infrastructure systems, efficient use of resources and land, environmental protection, climate change adaptation and strengthening regional linkages.
Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee emphasized that, according to the general requirements and progress of the Central Government, the completion and submission for approval of the provincial planning adjustment needs to be implemented urgently while the workload is still large.
The Department of Finance - the agency in charge of preparing the adjustment of provincial planning - coordinates with the joint venture of consulting units and departments, branches, and localities to continue reviewing, updating and completing dossiers. Thereby, ensuring quality, feasibility, linkage and long-term vision.
At the same time, departments, branches, localities and consulting units are requested to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, focus resources, and urgently fully absorb opinions to complete dossiers in accordance with quality and progress requirements.
