At the ceremony, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan praised the proactiveness and agility of the health sector in implementing tasks. He also highly appreciated the spirit of readiness, responsibility, and affection of the staff and doctors participating in the Working Group.
Mr. Tuan hopes that the members will promote the spirit of solidarity, discipline, and closely coordinate with the health sector of other provinces to successfully complete their tasks, contributing to helping people in flood-affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.

The working group consisted of 62 doctors and nurses, divided into 2 teams, directly supporting Thai Nguyen and Cao Bang from October 11 to 17. During this time, the delegation will coordinate with local health sectors to deploy environmental sanitation, disinfect water sources, prevent epidemics, provide medicine and promote health care for people in flooded areas.
Gia Lai province sent Thai Nguyen and Cao Bang 600kg of Chloramine B along with 4,000 bags of household medicine (sponsored by Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company).

At the same time, urgently support 4 billion VND for 4 localities that suffered heavy damage including Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Cao Bang and Bac Ninh, each province 1 billion VND.
To encourage the spirit of the force, the Provincial People's Committee also supported each working team with 50 million VND; the Provincial General Hospital and Gia Lai Children's Hospital also contributed additional funds to the group before leaving.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the working group moved to Phu Cat airport to catch the flight at 8:00 a.m. the same day, starting the journey of affection and responsibility of the Gia Lai health sector towards the flooded areas.
