The highest rainfall recorded was at Long Dinh 348.2mm, Khe Mai 341mm (Van Don special zone); Cam Pha 322.8mm; Than Hon Gai 314mm; Hong Ha 304.8mm; Cua Ong 285.8mm.
Prolonged heavy rain also caused landslides in some areas. In Bai Chay ward, out of 10 points where local authorities identified a high risk of landslides, 4 locations have experienced landslides.

The locality has relocated 15 people from 4 households and a temporary shack of workers affected to a safe place.
Also on August 23, a landslide occurred on the positive slope of Dang Ba Hat street, Hong Gai ward, causing traffic through the area to be disrupted.
Local authorities have arranged forces to divert traffic and mobilize machinery to collect soil and rocks.

Faced with the risk of further landslides, Hong Gai ward has relocated 10 households at key points to safe places. The locality is continuing to review households located in dangerous areas to proactively plan relocation.
In the Co To special zone, from 4 pm on August 22 to 11 am on August 23, scattered rain appeared, sometimes moderate rain; northeast wind level 6-7, gusting level 9.
Before the developments of storm No. 4, the People's Committee of Co To Special Zone has switched from a state of readiness for prevention and control to emergency response, corresponding to the level of disaster risk level 3.
On the morning of August 23, officials of villages and neighborhoods directly inspected the anchorage area of ships and boats, focusing on Au Cang and Vung Kho Gao; reviewed the drainage system and points at risk of flooding.
