Dong Nai - Typhoon in the afternoon of May 4th blew off the roof of Binh An Elementary School, all students were off school for 2 days to carry out repairs.

On the afternoon of May 4, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong newspaper, Mr. Truong Quoc Phong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh An commune, Dong Nai city, said that the tornado that occurred in the afternoon of the same day in the commune blew off the corrugated iron roof of Binh An Elementary School, but did not cause any casualties.

The Party Committee and People's Committee of Binh An commune directly went to the scene and directed the handling, on May 5, the school will temporarily give all students a 2-day break for the construction department to dismantle the damaged part and install new ones to ensure students' learning.

On the evening of May 4, Binh An Commune People's Committee also requested militia forces to be on duty to protect the scene, and the police also recorded the scene.

Also on May 4, the People's Committee of Bu Dang commune, Dong Nai city, went to inspect the villages affected by heavy rain accompanied by tornadoes that dropped 25 tons of durian and blew off the roofs of many houses, which occurred on the afternoon of May 3 in the area.

After conducting actual inspections and encouraging households, leaders of Bu Dang Commune People's Committee requested the management boards of villages where natural disasters occur to coordinate with the Commune Economic Department to urgently review and fully and accurately statistically determine the area, output, crops, livestock, architecture, as well as the number of damaged households, and promptly advise on support plans...
