On January 13, according to information from the Provincial Department of Construction, the project to upgrade and expand Le Duan road (National Highway 51A), Long Thanh district (now Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province), the construction progress of the packages reached about 25%.
The Le Duan road upgrade and expansion project has a total length of about 4.79 km.
The project is divided into two sections including: Section 1 from Nau Tau Bac to Vu Hong Pho road with 6 car lanes, 2 mixed lanes; Section 2 from Vu Hong Pho road to Nau Tau Nam includes 6 car lanes. Total investment capital is about 1,025 billion VND.
The project was started on September 4, 2025 and is expected to be completed on August 29, 2026 with a construction time of 360 days. This is a key traffic route directly connecting the urban planning area of Long Thanh airport.
The project is being implemented with 2 bidding packages: Bidding package No. 10 - construction of section 3 (section from Bui Thi Xuan street to Hai Ba Trung street), section 4 (section from Hai Ba Trung street to Km4+000) and section 5 (from Km4+000 to the end of the route) including traffic safety assurance costs under the project; Bidding package No. 11 (construction and supply of goods) construction, supply and installation of equipment for medium voltage power supply systems, low voltage power supply systems and lighting systems.
This project, after completion, aims to complete urban technical infrastructure according to the plan, ensuring continuous traffic connection between roads, creating motivation to promote local socio-economic development.
