On December 1, information from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province said that the DT 770B road project is expected to have its land use planning adjusted at the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council meeting at the end of 2024.
Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee requested Long Thanh District People's Committee to urgently update the route of DT 770B road project into the general planning of Phuoc Thai commune in 2024 as a basis for project implementation.
The DT 770B road project is a newly invested and constructed road with a length of more than 42km, starting at the intersection with DT 763 road in Suoi Nho commune, Dinh Quan district and ending at the intersection with National Highway 51 in Phuoc Thai commune, Long Thanh district, planned with a road width of 60m, with 4-8 lanes.
The total investment for the DT 770B road construction project is over VND 8,000 billion, of which compensation and site clearance costs are about VND 3,300 billion. The source of capital for implementation is the provincial budget. The project implementation period is until 2027.
DT 770B route is invested in construction to connect the eastern and northeastern districts of Dong Nai province with Long Thanh airport and Xuan Que - Song Nhan industrial parks, Bau Can - Tan Hiep industrial parks, connecting Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, National Highway 51 and Cai Mep - Thi Vai seaport area (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).
Currently, Dong Nai province has a group of 10 projects that are carrying out procedures for investment. Of which, 3 projects including DT 769 road, DT 770B road and DT 773 road are in the list of projects that the Department of Planning and Investment advised the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee to report to the Government for support from the Central Government to implement the project in the period of 2026-2030.
