Total investment of more than 9,978 billion VND
On July 12, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai City publicly consulted on environmental impact assessment of component project 2: Investment in construction of the section from Ba Hao intersection to Ring Road 4 HCMC in the form of public investment (referred to as the project).
According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project has a total investment of more than 9,978 billion VND, a length of more than 30km, and a scale of 8 lanes.

The main route is designed to be upgraded and expanded (the route coincides with the existing DT. 761 road from Km13+000 – Km26+500) and newly built sections from Km26+500 – Km44+500; building an elevated intersection with Ring Road 4 HCMC at Km43+250.
The bridge system of the project includes 13 bridges, including 9 bridges on the main route and 4 bridges belonging to the grade-separated intersection with Ring Road 4 HCMC.
Making noise-resistant walls reduces impact on wildlife
The project is expected to arrange noise-fighting walls on both sides of the section passing through Dong Nai Nature - Culture Reserve (Km13+000 -Km26+500) to limit the spread of light from vehicles and works into the forest area. Use an adaptive lighting system using solar lights with sensors to adjust power according to traffic flow (lights are arranged within the noise-fighting wall to limit the spread of light into the forest habitat and reduce the impact on wildlife).
The project passes through Tri An ward and Tan An commune of Dong Nai city, with a land use area of about 162.09 ha (including 21.76 ha of forest land and 140.33 ha of other types of land).

The section from Km13+000 to about Km26+500 passing through Dong Nai Nature - Culture Reserve, belonging to the core area of Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO in 2011 and recognized as ASEAN Heritage Garden in 2025, is an area with high biodiversity value, where many natural forest ecosystems and rare and endangered animal and plant species are distributed.
The project contributes to strengthening traffic connections between the North Dong Nai and Central Highlands regions to Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port cluster (HCMC), thereby shortening the transportation time of goods, agricultural products and passengers, meeting the increasing traffic demand of the region.
Previously, on June 30, Dong Nai City People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for Component Project 1: Investment in construction of the section from Ma Da bridge to Ba Hao intersection in the form of public-private partnership under the project to invest in the construction of a connecting road from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City (Tri An ward, Dong Nai City).

Section 1 from Ma Da bridge to Ba Hao intersection is 13km long and section 2 from Ba Hao intersection to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City is 31.5km long. Preliminary total investment is nearly 28,793 billion VND, built from 2026-2028, land use demand is nearly 217ha.
