On November 11, the Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that up to now, the Huong Lo 2 extended road project (section 1 - phase 1) through Bien Hoa City has completed more than 70% of the construction progress.
The Huong Lo 2 extended construction investment project (section 1 - phase 1) passes through Long Hung commune and An Hoa commune in Bien Hoa city, nearly 2 km long, starting at the intersection of National Highway 51, ending at the intersection of the existing asphalt concrete road (An Hoa - Long Hung), the recovered area is about 9.7 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 783 billion VND.
However, the construction is facing many difficulties due to 250 m of land in Long Hung commune, Bien Hoa city and half of An Hoa 2 bridge has no access road for construction.
Currently, An Hoa 2 bridge on the Huong Lo 2 extended road project has just completed construction of abutment M1 and piers P1, P2.
The Dong Nai Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has proposed that the Bien Hoa City People's Committee completely resolve problems related to compensation and site clearance for households (about 68 households) in the section passing through Long Hung commune to begin construction.
Huong Lo 2 Project (section 1, phase 1) started construction at the end of 2020. However, the project implementation process has been continuously delayed due to problems in site clearance.
This route, once completed, will help reduce traffic congestion on Highway 51.
