Dong Nai - Households relocated to build the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway have begun building houses at the Long Duc resettlement area in Long Thanh district.

On October 12, according to reporters, households relocated to build the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway began building houses in the Long Duc resettlement area.

Long Duc resettlement area started construction in February 2023, is the first resettlement area serving the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, located next to National Highway 51.

Long Duc resettlement area has an area of ​​nearly 30 hectares, meeting the housing needs of nearly 3,400 people, equivalent to about 843 households, with a total investment of about 300 billion VND.

Households whose land is recovered for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project (section passing through Long Thanh district) and meet the conditions will be resettled in the resettlement area in Long Duc commune, where there is already social infrastructure, Long Duc Secondary School.

In Long Thanh district, in addition to the Long Duc resettlement area, on December 27, 2023, construction of the 34-hectare Long Phuoc resettlement area in Long Phuoc commune was also started, serving people who gave up land for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project with a total investment of nearly 365 billion VND. This resettlement area will be built with a maximum of 4 floors with 1,048 lots to accommodate 4,000-4,500 people.

The entire 4 resettlement areas for Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway include 2 resettlement areas in Long Thanh district and 2 resettlement areas in Bien Hoa city.
