According to data from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, yesterday and today (October 19), there will be heavy rain in the North, Central and South regions.

Rainfall from 7pm on October 18 to 3pm on October 19 was over 70mm in some places such as: Tien Nguyen (Ha Giang) 110.4mm, Ha Lang (Cao Bang) 98.6mm, Bao Nhai (Lao Cai) 97.6mm, Dong Kho (Binh Thuan) 124.8mm, Vien An (Soc Trang) 76.6mm,...

The Northeast, North and Central Central regions, and the South Central Highlands will have scattered showers and thunderstorms from the evening of October 19 to October 20, with some places experiencing heavy rain. Rainfall will range from 10 to 30mm, with some places experiencing over 60mm.

The Southern region has scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15 - 30mm, some places over 70mm (rain mainly concentrated in the afternoon and night).

Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.
