Weather forecast for the next 24-48 hours, continental cold high pressure will be strengthened in the North of our country. The equatorial low pressure trough has an axis through the South with little change in intensity. The subtropical high pressure has an axis through the North Central region.

Around October 22-23 and from October 26-27, the continental cold high pressure will be strengthened. The equatorial low pressure trough has an axis over the Southern region, from around October 23-24 it will gradually become stronger, connecting with a cyclone that is likely to enter the Northeast of the East Sea. Above, the subtropical high pressure with an axis over the North Central - North regions will be stable, then weaken and retreat to the East around October 24-25.

Therefore, in the coming days, rain will decrease slightly in the Southern region, the sky will be cloudy and sunny during the day.

Regarding high tides, water levels at stations downstream of the Saigon - Dong Nai river system have risen slowly over the past 24 hours and reached high levels. The highest peak tide is likely to occur on October 19 (ie September 17 of the lunar calendar).

At Phu An and Nha Be stations, water levels can reach 1.75-1.80m (0.15-0.20m above alarm level III); Occurrence time is from 5-6am and 5-6pm.

At Thu Dau Mot station (Saigon River), the water level reached 1.82-1.85m (0.22-0.25m above alarm level III).

At Bien Hoa station (Dong Nai river), the water level reached 2.10-2.15m (0.10-0.15m above alarm level II).
